Francesco Piasentini has been making stringed instruments since 2001, when he graduated as an “Operator for Violin Making” at the international violin-making school “A. Stradivari” in Cremona, under the guidance of Maestro Aromatico Fantoni.
In 2005, I refined the Cremonese classical method at the atelier of Maestro Min Sung Kim, winner of several violin-making contests and a former classmate in Cremona.
I then started a collaboration with the Atelier of Maestro Giovanni Lazzaro, contributing in the construction and restoration of fine instruments, until 2014.
I put particular care and attention into the sound and playability of the instruments, treasuring my experiences in restoration and acoustic set-up.
